Fire protection for the home doesn't have to be out of style - look at this guard from HOMCOM. The mesh-panel design still allows heat pass through, yet creates a safety barrier between the heat. Sturdy and good value. We are using it in garden to eliminate the steps and up and down the patio. Not sure how it will fair in rain etc but should be easily recovered in fake grass.
