Furniture Gold offers standard delivery to UK Mainland postcodes only.

Areas Covered & Delivery Charges

●      We provide FREE Standard Delivery on most UK Mainland orders.

●      Delivery surcharges between £80–£150 apply to certain remote UK mainland postcodes. You will be notified of applicable charges before dispatch.

●      We do not deliver to Scottish Offshore (KW15-17, ZE, HS, PA20, 41-49, 60-75, 77-78, KA27-28, PH40, 42-44), Northern Ireland (BT), Channel Islands (GY, JE), Isle of Man (IM), Isles of Scilly (TR21-25), Republic of Ireland, or BFPO addresses.

Standard Delivery Procedure

●      Deliveries are made between 7 am and 10 pm, Monday to Sunday.

●      Small and medium-sized items are shipped via courier (Royal Mail, Evri, Yodel, DX, DHL). You will receive tracking information when available. Couriers may leave parcels at a safe place or neighbour if you are unavailable, and a card will be left for rearranging delivery if necessary.

●      Large and bulky items (furniture, sofas, wardrobes, etc.) require pre-booked delivery. You will be contacted directly to confirm the delivery date.

●      For bulky items, delivery is made curb-side only. The customer must arrange sufficient help for unloading and moving items inside. Delivery teams are not obligated to assist unless prearranged at an extra charge.

●      If you require special assistance, including delivery to upper floors, please contact us immediately after ordering at sales@furnituregold.co.uk for a quote (subject to availability).

Rescheduling & Missed Deliveries

●      If you cannot accept delivery on the initially offered date, you can reschedule at no charge provided you notify us at least 3 working days prior to the booked delivery date.

●      Requests to change delivery dates made within 1–2 working days of the scheduled date will incur an admin charge of £30–£80 (dependent on product/area).

●      Changes requested with less than 1 working day's notice, or missed deliveries, will result in a redelivery charge between £80–£150 (dependent on product and area), payable before rebooking.

Estimated Delivery Timeframe (ETA)

●      Estimated delivery dates provided on product pages are tentative and not guaranteed.

●      Our standard delivery lead time is typically 14–21 working days from order confirmation.

●      Orders cancelled due to delays from the tentative ETA will incur an admin charge of £30.

●      Orders cancelled after dispatch incur a full handling charge of £50–£150, covering courier and administration costs.

Receiving Your Delivery

●      Deliveries must be received and signed for by an authorised person, unless you provide written confirmation allowing couriers to leave goods unattended. You accept all risk if choosing unattended delivery.

●      You must thoroughly inspect packages upon delivery. ANY damage (minor or major) must be clearly marked as "Damaged" on courier paperwork BEFORE signing. Failure to do so will invalidate subsequent claims for damage.

●      You may refuse delivery if items are significantly damaged—photographic proof is required immediately upon refusal.

All standard purchases from Furniture Gold are covered by our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, provided they meet the criteria below.

Return Eligibility

●      Items must be returned in original, unopened packaging and in fully resalable condition.

●      Items must not have been assembled, fitted, altered, or used in any way.

●      Bespoke, made-to-order, personalised, clearance, and bulk-order (3+ units) items are excluded from returns unless an incorrect item was delivered due to our error.

●      For hygiene reasons, mattresses, bedding, duvets, and similar products cannot be returned once opened.

Returning an Item

●      Returns must be requested via email at sales@furnituregold.co.uk within 30 days from the delivery date.

●      Customers are responsible for arranging and covering return shipping costs or may request our collection service (fees between £29–£149, depending on item and location).

●      Original delivery charges are non-refundable. For orders with free delivery, a charge (ranging £29–£199 based on product size/location) will be deducted from your refund to cover our initial delivery costs.

Refund Processing

●      Refunds are processed within 5 working days from the date we receive and inspect the returned item(s).

●      Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and typically take 2-5 working days to appear in your account.

●      We reserve the right to refuse refunds if returned items do not meet the eligibility criteria or differ significantly from the photographic evidence provided.

Damaged or Faulty Items

●      All items must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

●      Any visible damage must be clearly marked as "Damaged" on the courier’s delivery sheet before signing. Significant damage should result in refusal of delivery.

●      Damages or missing parts discovered after delivery must be reported within 48 hours. Photographic proof must accompany damage claims.

●      Replacement parts for damaged items will be provided free of charge, typically dispatched within 14–21 working days.

●      If we cannot resolve the issue via replacement parts or a full replacement, we will arrange free collection and issue a full refund.

●      If damage was caused due to improper assembly, mishandling, or negligence by the customer, claims will not be accepted, and no refund or replacement will be provided.

Important Conditions for Claims:

●      Claims for damaged mirrors/glass items must be made immediately at delivery and recorded on the courier’s delivery sheet; later claims cannot be accepted.

●      If you authorise a courier to leave goods unattended ("safe place"), you waive your right to claim for loss or damage.

●      Minor cosmetic imperfections, especially on assembled furniture delivered to your premises, are not classified as faults unless significantly affecting product functionality.

Admin and Redelivery Charges

●      Orders cancelled after 24 hours will incur a fixed admin fee of £30.

●      Customers who miss their scheduled delivery will incur redelivery charges of between £49–£149, dependent upon item and location.

Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

●      Items custom-made or personalised specifically for you are non-returnable and are excluded from the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, unless the wrong item is delivered due to an error on our part.
