The wardrobe was delivered without any fittings or assembly instructions, making it impossible to put together.
My husband had to leave work early and got home at around 11:30 a.m. When he and my son opened the boxes, they discovered there were no fittings included. We had just moved into our new house and had to leave all our clothes on the floor for yet another day. Even after the fittings finally arrived, assembling just half of the wardrobe took until midnight.
I first tried calling the contact numbers listed on the company's website. The mobile number was inactive, and the landline kept me listening to an automated message for around 15 minutes saying my call would be answered, but nobody ever picked up.
I then remembered I had received the delivery confirmation via WhatsApp, so I messaged that number. The man called me back. At first, I thought he was just the courier, but I now believe he is actually one of the owners. He initially told me that nobody could come until the following day because they were based in Luton. However, shortly afterwards I received a message saying a driver was on his way and would arrive within an hour.
By the time the driver arrived( same man,Tim) with the missing fittings—who turned out to be the same man I had spoken to on the phone—it was around 4:00 p.m. An entire day had been wasted.
I asked the man for some compensation for all the inconvenience, wasted time, and disruption, but he refused.
I'm giving two stars only because he eventually brought the missing fittings. Otherwise, the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I would recommend using a more reputable company with proper customer service rather than what felt like a one-man operation.
